"Why did we choose Bloom Strum? Because they don't treat music like a chore. Within 3 weeks, I wasn't just playing scales; I was actually understanding how songs are built. The integration of theory is exactly what was missing from my self-teaching!"

The Beginner's Journey

1

Foundation Phase (Month 1-2)

Open chords, basic strumming patterns, and standard notation reading basics. You’ll be playing your first song within the first hour.

2

Technical Dexterity (Month 3-5)

Barre chords, pentatonic mapping, and rhythmic subdivision. This is where we start building actual finger speed and muscle memory.

3

Musicianship Phase (Month 6+)

Full fretboard visualization, complex ear training, and intro to improvisation. You are no longer just a beginner.

A variety of starter acoustic and electric guitars

What to bring?

Don't rush to buy a guitar before we talk! Beginners often purchase instruments that are too large or have poor action. We recommend starting with a well-setup acoustic for strength, but electric is fine for those who want to rock. Already own a guitar? Bring it in, and we'll assess its playability for free.
